Following a smash hit series in Sydney and Melbourne, BIG Live’s The Great Gatsby arrives at QPAC for a limited season!
This dazzling world premiere reimagines F. Scott Fitzgerald’s timeless classic with full theatrical spectacle. Directed and choreographed by Joel Burke, Gatsby’s story is brought to life like never before.
The score blends Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue, James P. Johnson’s The Charleston, and bold new works by Emmy award-winning Jason Fernandez as well as Dominic Cabusi.
On stage, our dancers deliver a genre-defying fusion of ballet, tap and jazz. Expect nothing less than breathtaking choreography, bedazzled costumes, spectacular sets, and the glitz and glamour of one of the most famous stories of all time.
The Great Gatsby promises to be the most unforgettable theatrical event of the year.
