Acknowledgement of Traditional Custodians

We pay our respects to the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander ancestors of this land, their spirits and their legacy. The foundations laid by these ancestors give strength, inspiration and courage to current and future generations, both First Nations and non-First Nations peoples, towards creating a better Queensland.

Overview

Ladies and Gentlemen, get ready for a big band treat like no other!

For the first time ever, the phenomenal Big Band Liechtenstein will be hitting our shores to join forces with international trumpet maestro James Morrison, to bring to life all those timeless big band classics, at our best concert halls across the country.

James is a musical genius in his own right and a highly entertaining showman, who always delivers an unforgettable performance. Combining this with one of the best big bands in Europe, and you have a concert experience you simply cannot miss!

Liechtenstein may be one of the smallest countries in the world, but what a big band it has! The Big Band Liechtenstein in its over 40-year history, has performed for Pope John Paul II and at the famous Montreux Jazz Festival, accompanied by many stars, and has played in numerous concerts across Europe.

“I’m honoured to be playing with this fabulous big band who will blow you away with their incredible musicianship and passion.” (James Morrison)

Grab your friends and get ready for this very special big band treat.

You’ll be swinging from the first note!
