Tony Award®-winning director Julie Taymor brings to life a story filled with hope and adventure set against an amazing backdrop of stunning visuals. THE LION KING also features the extraordinary work of Tony Award®-winning choreographer Garth Fagan and some of Broadway’s most recognizable music, crafted by Tony Award®-winning artists Elton John and Tim Rice.

THE LION KING opens November 2026 at the Lyric Theatre for a strictly limited season.

Flexible Exchange Policy

We know plans can change, so Disney offers a flexible exchange policy* for THE LION KING. You can book with peace of mind knowing that your tickets can be exchanged up to 7 days prior to your original performance.

Ticket Dispatch

Tickets will be supplied 10 days prior to performance date.

Performer Notice

The producers cannot guarantee the appearance of any particular artist at any performance. No refunds will be offered as a result of an artist’s unavailability to perform at any performance.

Babes in Arms

Children under the age of 2 are permitted to sit on your lap free of charge with a ‘Babes in Arms’ ticket, issued by the box office on the day of the performance.

Latecomers

A strict lockout period will apply. Latecomers will be admitted into the auditorium during a suitable break in the performance.

Photography

Video recording and photography is strictly not permitted at any time during the performance.
