Acknowledgement of Traditional Custodians

We pay our respects to the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander ancestors of this land, their spirits and their legacy. The foundations laid by these ancestors give strength, inspiration and courage to current and future generations, both First Nations and non-First Nations peoples, towards creating a better Queensland.

Overview

Get ready for a national tour event that will change the way we talk about women’s health!

If you’re wondering why your body didn’t get the memo on how to behave in midlife, then you need to be in the room for Hot, Healthy & Unbreakable Midlife: Reimagined.

Forget the boring lectures – this is real talk about what’s actually happening to your body, your bones, and your sex life, delivered in a way that finally makes sense. 80 minutes of expert-led evidence-based, laugh-out-loud, genuinely life-changing conversation that will leave you feeling informed, empowered and far less alone.

You’ll hear from world-leading experts in peri and menopause:

Dr Vonda Wright, the US orthopaedic surgeon loved by Australian audiences who will focus on strength, longevity and staying physically powerful through midlife so that you become unbreakable from the inside out; and Dr Kelly Casperson, urologist and expert in the hormonal shifts you’re experiencing in sexual and pelvic health; who will reassure you that you are not broken. Hosted by Australia’s own Peri Godmother Shelly Horton who will be keeping it real, relatable and a little bit cheeky.

You’ll walk away with answers, practical tools and that powerful feeling of “oh thank god, it’s not just me.” This isn’t just an event series; it’s a movement to empower, inform, and celebrate midlife women. Don’t miss out on the chance to connect with world-class experts and embrace the next chapter with confidence and vitality.

Real talk. Real doctors. Your peri and menopause: reimagined.
