Overview

Celebrating the International Day of the Girl – WOW Schools Day ‘26

WOW Schools Day '26, to be held on Tuesday, 13 October is aligned with UN International Day of The Girl Child, designated in 2012 to highlight and address the many challenges girls face globally, and to promote girl’s empowerment and human rights.

This year Women of the World Australia (WOW) will continue to partner with QPAC to host over 200 high school students in a full day of workshops, performances, and Speed Mentoring on the Wheel of Brisbane with over 100 mentors from a range of diverse fields, highlighting opportunities and inspiring diverse ambitions.

Schedule
8:30am – Schools registration in the Cremorne Theatre Foyer.
9:15am – Panel discussion in the Cremorne Theatre.
10:45am – Mentoring sessions
11:45am – Lunch
12:15pm - 2.45pm – Workshops (Playhouse Lounge, Lyric Lounge and Cremorne Theatre).
