Overview

For nearly four decades, the Matilda Awards have honoured the bold creativity, imagination and excellence of Queensland’s artists, performances and productions. This glittering annual event brings together the State’s creative leaders, emerging talents, and industry innovators, illuminating the creative people shaping the future of performing arts across Queensland.

The Matilda Awards sparkle as a truly spectacular live event, where the passion of the industry and the artistry of performance come together in unforgettable moments, heartfelt tributes, and the electric anticipation for each of the 20 award winners.

In an exciting new chapter, the 38th Matilda Awards take centre stage in their new home, the Queensland Performing Arts Centre (QPAC), placing the celebration at the State’s creative heart and elevating the Matildas to new heights.

Join Queensland’s creative community on Monday, 2 March for a night of glamour, recognition and celebration, where excellence is honoured and the State’s performing arts industry shines brightly.
