Overview

Don’t miss the QPAC debut of acclaimed German a cappella ensemble, Sjaella!

Renowned for their mesmerising, crystal-clear singing, these six extraordinary voices bring a rare magic to every performance. Formed in 2005 as teenagers, Sjaella (pronounced Say-ella) has enthralled audiences worldwide – from performances at the Mozarteum Salzburg to collaborations with the prestigious Leipzig Gewandhaus Orchestra – and are fast becoming one of the most enchanting vocal ensembles of our time.

Sjaella’s ethereal and refined artistry will be showcased in Among the Branches, a stunning program of Baroque works by Henry Purcell, folk songs from Northern Europe and contemporary tonal works.
