Australian composer Nigel Westlake felt a deep emotional connection to the voice of Lior when he initiated a collaboration that would result in Compassion – their resonant song cycle sourced from ancient Hebrew and Arabic texts, which became an ARIA Award-winning classical album. Allow Lior’s voice to envelop you in these stunning songs that advocate for peace, wisdom, and love for one another.

Australian composer Mary Finsterer poured compassion and devotion into her rich and meditative work Stabat Mater Symphony, while renowned guitarist Slava Grigoryan will join us for Nigel Westlake’s Antarctica: Suite for guitar and orchestra.

Due to unforeseen health reasons, Violinist Kristian Winther can no longer perform in this concert.
