Acknowledgement of Traditional Custodians

We pay our respects to the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander ancestors of this land, their spirits and their legacy. The foundations laid by these ancestors give strength, inspiration and courage to current and future generations, both First Nations and non-First Nations peoples, towards creating a better Queensland.

Overview

Dive into an extraordinary multi-artform experience where the meticulous intellect of Johann Sebastian Bach’s The Art of Fugue meets the breath-taking physicality of contemporary acrobatics.

The Australian Brandenburg Orchestra, renowned for its spirited reimagining of the Baroque, joins forces once again with Brisbane’s premier acrobatic ensemble Circa, to present a performance that transcends the traditional boundaries of both art forms.

This collaboration is a celebration of human potential, pushing the limits of both mind and body. The complex structure and intellectual depth of Bach’s The Art of Fugue is brought to life by Paul Dyer and the Brandenburg’s vibrant interpretation, while Circa’s ensemble, led by Artistic Director Yaron Lifschitz, respond with dynamic choreography that defies gravity and captivates the senses.

Be there and witness Bach’s musical genius combined with the daring artistry of acrobatics in a performance that embodies the ultimate in human endeavour as we explore the boundless possibilities of artistic creation.

Experience the heights of musical and physical prowess.
