Overview

Attention, musical theatre lovers! We want YOU!

Prepare for your new favourite musical: A Girl’s Guide to World War.

This smash-hit show storms the Cremorne Theatre at QPAC this April.

Enlist now to meet Dr. Agnes Bennett and Dr. Lilian Cooper, two Aussie women who, rejected by the army, found their own way to the frontline and became decorated war heroes.

Hailed as “wonderfully uplifting” and a “work of inspiration” (Blue Curtains), this musical guarantees heart-warming entertainment.

Winner of Best New Australian Work (Matilda Awards), this extraordinary true story will leave you energised and transformed.

Actress Susie French (Menopause the Musical, Mamma Mia) also took home Best Supporting Actress for her no-holds-barred performance as the smoking, swearing lesbian powerhouse Dr Lilian Cooper, Queensland’s first female doctor.

A Girl’s Guide to World War will carry you away with its breathtaking musical storytelling. Presented by Musical Theatre Australia, and written by Queensland’s own Aleathea Monsour and Katy Forde, this is an unforgettable story of courage and compassion.
