Overview

Soul, Gospel, Country

Step into a world where music transcends time and touches the soul. Emma Donovan, with her rich and evocative voice, invites you on a journey through the country music, gospel hymns and the rich legacy of soul that shaped her life. This isn’t just a concert—it’s an intimate experience where memories and melodies intertwine.

The Old Rugged Cross brings together the haunting beauty of classics like "I’ll Fly Away" and "Will The Circle Be Unbroken" with Emma’s unique tribute to Aretha Franklin's "Amazing Grace." Plus, hear her perform personal, heartfelt songs by her grandfather Micko Donovan and selections from her latest album, “Til My Song is Done.”

But this night is about more than music; it’s about the stories behind the songs. Acclaimed pianist Paul Grabowsky joins Emma, accompanied by a powerful collection of our finest jazz musicians, to craft masterful arrangements that breathe new life into these cherished pieces. Together, they create a one-of-a-kind performance that will resonate long after the final note.

This is a rare opportunity to witness some of our finest talent in a concert that promises to be as moving as it is unforgettable. Don’t wait—tickets are limited, and this event is not to be missed. Secure your seat now for a night of soul, heritage, and music that will stay with you forever.
