Overview
First Gathering is a celebration of the vibrant First Nations cultures of Brisbane and marks the official opening of the Clancestry 2024. This event invites you to pay respects to the ancestors of this land, their spirits and their legacy in a celebration of dance, song and culture.
This year we go back to Clancestry’s origins and open the festival with Community groups coming together at the South Bank Piazza, to gather as people have done for generations before us and celebrate in the rich history of this country.
