Acknowledgement of Traditional Custodians

We pay our respects to the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander ancestors of this land, their spirits and their legacy. The foundations laid by these ancestors give strength, inspiration and courage to current and future generations, both First Nations and non-First Nations peoples, towards creating a better Queensland.

Overview

Vika & Linda are the most loved vocal duo of their generation – admired and respected by fans and fellow artists, they’ve been singing together their entire lives. It all began in a church, and from church to the charts Vika & Linda have enjoyed a remarkable musical journey.

After three classic albums with the Black Sorrows, Vika & Linda have released seven studio albums, two live albums and a chart-topping anthology. They have sung on number one albums by Paul Kelly, Kasey Chambers and John Farnham, performed for the Dalai Lama, Nelson Mandela and the King of Tonga, and been nominated for four ARIA Awards.

Vika & Linda present a very special show, accompanied by their close collaborator and producer Cameron Bruce on grand piano, in a concert that will truly showcase the rich beauty of their voices together.

Also featuring a special performance from MOSAIC Multicultural Choir, this concert raises funds and awareness for HEAL – a charity providing expressive arts therapies to young people from refugee backgrounds in Queensland.
