Acknowledgement of Traditional Custodians

We pay our respects to the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander ancestors of this land, their spirits and their legacy. The foundations laid by these ancestors give strength, inspiration and courage to current and future generations, both First Nations and non-First Nations peoples, towards creating a better Queensland.

Overview

Spend an entertaining evening with the stars of Channel 4’s hit show Escape to the Château, Dick and Angel Strawbridge, and experience the Château like never before.

Over the past eight years, millions of viewers across the world have been enthralled by the adventures of retired Lieutenant Colonel, engineer and chef, Dick, and his entrepreneur and designer wife, Angel. Now, following two sell out UK tours, the pair are heading back out on the road, sharing even more of the adventures, challenges and successes of building and living their Château dream.

Forever Home is the charismatic couple’s biggest tour yet! Alongside untold stories and laughs to be shared, this intrepid couple will be daring to do something a little different by shining the spotlight on their audience with a highly interactive show.

During this entertaining evening, audience members will get the opportunity to win a place on stage to compete against each other for the title of Brisbane’s ‘Escape to the Château – Jack of All Trades’.

Audiences can expect anything and everything from icing a cake to plumbing and electrics, no task is out of bounds and it’s guaranteed to get messy!

Touring with Arthur, Dorothy, Papi and Grandma has been such a joy, and we can’t wait to return ... to share tales of our adventures, challenges, and the successes of building and living our Château dream. There is only so much of our story that can be told on the telly, and as life at the Château continues to evolve, we will share an insight into what it takes to build a forever home. Expect an interactive evening of fun, games, myth-busting, plenty of stories, and experience the Château like never before. We simply can’t wait, and this time we get to hug you after!
