Acknowledgement of Traditional Custodians

We pay our respects to the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander ancestors of this land, their spirits and their legacy. The foundations laid by these ancestors give strength, inspiration and courage to current and future generations, both First Nations and non-First Nations peoples, towards creating a better Queensland.

Overview

Great Scott, it’s back to Night of the Nerds! Yes, World Science Festival Brisbane’s delightfully dorky variety game show is back.

Comedian Mark Humphries will boldly go where no host has gone before as two all-star teams of scientists, tech heads and funny people face off in a series of challenges to lead their team to the ultimate nerdy triumph.

Keeping a watchful eye on proceedings will be our fact checker and ABC super nerd, Tegan Taylor. If anyone is going to be fast and loose with the truth, it better be funny. And let’s not forget the house superband, adding a touch of razzle-dazzle to the proceedings.

Come one, come all for a side-splitting night of warp speed chaos, and remember, the geek will inherit the earth!
