Overview

A Folksong inspired journey around the world

The folk influence in classical music has stretched across centuries of writing and many nations, and continues to do so. Featuring guest artist UK mezzo soprano Lotte Betts-Dean in the highly popular folksong travelogue by Italian composer Luciano Berio, Ensemble Q presents a boots and all style exploration of the earthy influence of music from countries including Ireland, America, Japan, Italy, Sardinia, Azerbaijan, Czechoslovakia, Norway, and more.
