Calling all Hip Hop lovers! Join us as Elements Collective takes over QPAC with Battle Series Brisbane. A day of non-stop action from the country’s top b-boys and b-girls. We invite audiences to sit back and watch, or enter the battle and go head-to-head with both local legends and out-of-state talents in 1 vs 1 and Crew Breaking Battles.

What's at stake? Well, besides the glory and bragging rights, we have cash and prizes up for grabs, plus the 1v1 categories are eligible for the AusBreaking National Ranking System.

The exciting event is part of a collaboration between QPAC and the renowned Elements Collective, an internationally recognised dance company that has been spearheading the Australian Hip Hop dance community since 2010. They've organised legendary touring productions, inspiring community workshops, and spectacular large-scale events, including national battles and workshops.

Battle Series Brisbane is our daytime program, but as the sun sets, prepare for an evening performance of Flexing Skillz by Nick Power, that will leave audiences in awe.

FLEXING SKILLZ

Welcome to the ultimate Hip Hop game show! Flexing Skillz brings three teams comprising some of Brisbane’s dopiest Emcee’s, DJ’s, Dancers and Singers together in a competitive improv game. Riffing off topics thrown by the audience and backed by a live funk band each team will flex their freestyle skillz looking to take home the title. Hosted by none other than Tom Thum and featuring a true line up of Hip Hop heavyweights including DJ Katch, B*Girl Flix, Master Wolf, Franky Smart, Jess Harlen, Kel Timmons and many more.

Flexing Skillz is just one of the two thrilling events happening on Saturday 30 September, brought to you by a dynamic collaboration between QPAC and the renowned Elements Collective.
