Theatre Bars

One of the most exciting moments of going to the theatre is those minutes just before you take your seat.

QPAC’s foyer bars are always brimming with anticipation, and what better place to gather with friends and get ready for the show. Our theatre bars offer a great selection of sparkling and still wines, beers and ciders, spirits, and an ever-changing cocktails menu. Drinks may be consumed while seated in the foyer or in the theatre.

Antipasto Plates

Available as an online pre-order for performances, enjoy a delicious antipasto or cheese plate at the theatre bar before the show or during interval. This includes your selection of a glass of house wine, local beer or soft drink. When there is no interval, collection must occur preshow.

Cheese plate + beverage $25

a selection of cured meats, artisan cheese, olives, quince paste, hummus, pickles and crisp bread

Save time and escape the queue by pre-ordering your interval drinks. Just ask one of our friendly staff at the bar prior to the show.

Bar opening times

The QBar, Lyric Theatre Bars and Concert Hall Bars open 90 minutes prior to performances. Cremorne Theatre Bars and Playhouse Theatre Bars open 60 minutes prior to performances.

  • Important Notice:

    When there is no interval, collection must occur preshow.

  • Due to the nature of a performing arts venue, hours of operation may vary.

  • Gluten free options available, please ask the bar staff at time of purchase or collection.

Heading to a QSO matinee performance at QPAC? Arrive early and enjoy a freshly made sandwich before the music begins. All just $10 each, available from our Concert Hall Bar and ground level QBAR.
