Brisbane's most iconic festival for children eight years & under is returning!
Expect a full-venue takeover for six days packed with theatre experiences, workshops, free events and activities as we place children at the centre of the festival as artistic collaborators and experts in imaginative play.
Our key early years offering as part of QPAC's Creative Learning Program, the 2027 Out of the Box festival program is intentionally designed to enrich children's learning and development through the arts. Grounded in play and participation and informed by curriculum, the 2027 Out of the Box program is inspired by the theme of Belonging. At Out of the Box all children will find safety, joy and acceptance, they belong here.
