Sherlock Holmes - The Mystery of Valkyrie provides strong Curriculum Connections for Years 8–10 students through its use of adaptation, detective fiction, mystery, character, theatrical storytelling and the transformation of a classic literary world for contemporary audiences. It provides rich opportunities for analysis through the adaptation of an established literary world and to consider how Sherlock Holmes and the conventions of detective fiction are reimagined for the stage and a contemporary audience.
