As a performing arts centre for all of Queensland, QPAC has an important role to play in supporting and promoting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander arts and artists. QPAC’s Reflect Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) formalises this commitment to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples through leadership and development, in both business and programming.
The RAP aligns with QPAC’s strategic plan and was developed in collaboration with all staff, QPAC’s Board and Executive Team, QPAC’s Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Advisory Group and Reconciliation Australia. The RAP sets out practical and achievable commitments and sets a vision for reconciliation into the future.

We pay our respects to the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander ancestors of this land, their spirits and their legacy. The foundations laid by these ancestors – our First Nations Peoples – gives strength, inspiration and courage to current and future generations, both Indigenous and non-Indigenous, towards creating a better Queensland.
