Queensland Performing Arts Centre (QPAC) is one of Australia’s leading centres for live performance.

We welcome over 1.5 million visitors to more than 1,200 performances each year. We embrace the best in live performance from the world renowned to the emerging, local and new. We connect to the stories and ideas at the heart of each production. We aim to initiate a broad and relevant program that supports engagement and participation by the diverse communities we serve.

QPAC Presents encompasses signature events such as the QPAC International Series, Out of the Box and First Nations Program. It also includes a diverse range of local, national and international work and collaborations with our resident companies.

Through the warmth and expertise of our staff, we have become a trusted curator, presenter and host. We are a place to come together to relax, reflect, share stories and celebrate.

QPAC is governed by a Board of Trust members appointed by the Queensland Government. In collaboration with the Trust members, QPAC is managed by an Executive Group. The Executive Group is responsible for the operations and the achievement of the Centre's strategic priorities.

QPAC is a Statutory Body of the Queensland Government. Its responsibilities are set out in the Queensland Performing Arts Trust Act 1977.

QPAC is located in the vibrant cultural and educational precinct at South Bank that encompasses the Queensland Cultural Centre.
