Where to park when coming to QPAC

Plan your visit to QPAC by familiarising yourself with the car park options nearby

QPAC is located in a vibrant part of the city. We strongly suggest you check for traffic updates before you visit and plan your trip to ensure you don’t miss the start of your performance.

There are a range of parking options around QPAC including:

Performing Arts Car Park (P1)

COVID-safe Car Parking

For the protection and safety of patrons, staff and the wider community, the car parks provide fully contactless payment via automated pay stations. Payment can be made on entry by credit card only (Visa or MasterCard). No cash payments are accepted.

Car park staff can be contacted via intercom at the auto pay stations to assist patrons with pre-paid car park tickets, or in the case of credit card or equipment malfunctions. Increased cleaning and sanitising of car park equipment and touch points is in now in place to provide a COVID-safe environment.

Fines apply for patrons requiring after hours release of vehicles.

P1 Saturday and Sunday: 7am to 12am

P1 Public Holidays: 7am to 12am (closed Good Friday and Christmas Day)

Entry via Melbourne Street or Stanley Place, through the Cultural Centre Tunnel

Pre-paid car parking offers guaranteed, safe and convenient parking at the Performing Arts Car Park (P1) marked on the map below.

You can use the pre-paid car park ticket even when the CAR PARK FULL sign is displayed. The car park entrance will be unattended, please have your car park booking details ready when entering the car park. On arrival at the boom gate, use the intercom to advise security of your booking details to allow entry into the car park.

Pre-paid spaces are limited so, to ensure there is space reserved for you, we recommend you book your car parking when you book your tickets. Alternatively, you can pre-book parking at the Performing Arts Car Park (P1) online or by phoning 136 246.

  • must be presented upon entry (print@home, mobile phones or emails are NOT accepted). We are unable to provide refunds for unused tickets or where the incorrect tickets are presented on entry.
  • are valid for the specific date and entry time as specified at time of purchase.

Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre Parking

Convenient parking for the Playhouse, with easy access via Russell Walk. Fully automated with cash and card accepted at 13 Pay Stations available in Russell Walk and adjacent to lifts throughout the car park. Fast pay option, simply payWave at entry and again at exit using the same credit card.

Entry via Grey or Merivale Streets
Parking: $20 (2-3 hours) Fully automated with cash and card accepted at 13 Pay Stations
Opens: 24 hours; 7 days
Maximum height: 2.1-2.3m (depending on entry point)

Other Car Parks - Secure Parking

Secure Parking offer $12 evening (after 4pm) and weekend parking at SW1 (32 Cordelia Street). Parking must be pre-booked online using Secure-a-Spot by selecting car park SW1. Once booked you will receive a PIN to enter and exit the car park.

Coach Parking

Coaches can safely set down patrons on Grey Street and adjacent to the entrance to The Bistro at QPAC. Click here to view the Bus Set Down Map.
