Where to park when coming to QPAC

Plan your visit to QPAC by familiarising yourself with the car park options nearby

Being centrally located in a vibrant part of the city, we strongly suggest you check for traffic updates before you visit and plan your trip to ensure you don't miss the start of your performance.

There are a range of parking options around QPAC including:

Performing Arts Car Park

The closest parking for QPAC is at the Performing Arts car park which is marked by the PIN on the map below.
Pre paid parking tickets can only be used at Performing Arts car park.

Entry via Melbourne Street or Stanley Place, through the Cultural Centre Tunnel
Parking: $17 (per entry / per day) pay on entry (cash, Visa or Mastercard)
Opens: Mon-Fri – 7am to midnight, Sat-Sun and Public Holidays – 8:30am to midnight
Maximum height: 2.0 m

Other Queensland Cultural Centre Parking

Undercover parking is also available at other Queensland Cultural Centre locations:
  • Queensland Art Gallery/Queensland Museum car park
  • Stanley Place/State Library of Queensland car park

Entry via Stanley Place
Parking: $17 (per entry/per day) pay on entry (cash, Visa or Mastercard)
Opens: Mon-Fri – 7am to midnight, Sat-Sun and Public Holidays – 8:30am to midnight
Maximum height: 2.0 m (Queensland Art Gallery/Queensland Museum car park)
2.3 m lower level (limited bays) and 2.0 m on upper level (Stanley Place/State Library of Queensland car park)

Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre Parking

Entry via Grey or Merivale Streets
Parking: $21 (2-5 hours) pay on entry or exit (cash, Visa or Mastercard)
Opens: 24 hours; 7 days
Maximum height: 2.1-2.3m (depending on entry point)

Parking: Approximately $22-$25 (3-4 hours) pay at pay stations before exit
Open: Mon-Sun

Other Car Parks - Secure Parking

Secure Parking offer $12 evening (after 4pm) and weekend parking at SW1 (32 Cordelia Street). Parking must be pre-booked online using Secure-a-Spot by selecting car park SW1. Once booked you will receive a PIN to enter and exit the car park.

Pre-Paid Parking

Take advantage of pre-paid car parking, which offers guaranteed, safe and convenient parking.
Pre-paid car parking is available only at the Performing Arts car park marked on the map above.

If you purchase pre-paid parking with your tickets, Standard Mail is the default option for the ticket delivery method to ensure you receive your valid pre-paid car parking voucher prior to your visit to QPAC. Unfortunately, there is no print at home option for pre-paid parking currently available. Tickets must be presented upon entry of the car park. The voucher can be used even when the CAR PARK FULL sign is displayed. Pre-paid spaces are limited, so we recommend you book your car parking when you book your tickets. Alternatively, parking at the Performing Arts car park can be booked online or by phoning 136 246.

Book Pre-Paid Parking online

Pre-paid parking tickets:
  • must be purchased at least 14 days in advance of use and are subject to availability.
  • can only be used at the Performing Arts car park.
  • do not relate to a specific parking space, including disabled car spaces.
  • ticket must be presented upon entry (print@home, mobile phones or emails are NOT accepted). We are unable to provide refunds for unused tickets or where the incorrect tickets are presented on entry.
  • are valid for the specific date and entry time as specified at time of purchase.

Daytime Entry car park tickets
Entry: from car park opening time
Exit: by 90 minutes after performance finish time

Evening Entry car park tickets
Entry: from 5pm
Exit: by the closure time of the car park that day

Coach Parking

Coach parking in the Brisbane CBD is available at Brisbane City Council approved locations and times. Please download the QPAC Coach Parking map to view parking locations around QPAC. The Brisbane City Council has several maps, which display locations, times and restrictions on coach parking in South Bank and Brisbane CBD. Select a bus icon for location details and time restrictions.
