Shari Indriani is an Australian artist with Indonesian-New Zealand heritage, whose practice spans writing, performing, and directing for the stage.
Her credits include: as Director: for La Boite: Bi Empat (HWY Festival); as Assistant Director: for Queensland Theatre/Griffith Theatre Company: City of Gold; as Writer/Director: for QUT Collab Works: Recipe; as Writer: for Backbone Youth Arts: Doors; for CAAP/Playwriting Australia: Squint Witch; and as Actor: for La Boite: My Father Who Slept in a Zoo (HWY Festival): for Shock Therapy Productions: Welcome to Sameville. Shari undertook a Directorial Observation with Queensland Theatre for Nearer the Gods; is a participant of the CAAP’s Directors Initiative 2018-19; was Program Manager at La Boite Theatre Company 2009-2011, and is currently Queensland Theatre’s Producer of New Work.
