Meet Joshua Taliani


Joshua Taliani a 26 year old Aboriginal/Italian man. He hails the Bidjara and Kullali people of central west Queensland. As a dancer and choreographer Joshua is a familiar face in the dance community, training and learning with different artists, he has studied classical dance as well as performing arts. Joshua has represented Australia in the world hip-hop championships multiple times as well as other competitions in the States.

He has appeared on Australia's Got Talent in 2013 with his dance crew which placed top three leading to dancing in a Timomatic music video. Joshua is now focusing on building upon the queer dance scene within the wider Brisbane community through the art of vogueing and raising awareness of this platform for queer people of colour.
