The Whitlams are renowned for their unique brand of piano-driven indie rock honest, well crafted, and absolutely wonderful live in concert. Joining forces with Philharmonia Australia for one night only, don’t miss their return to QPAC to mark 25 years since launching onto the Australian music scene.

The Whitlams have been a fixture in Australian music since 1992 with achievements including seven albums and numerous ARIA Awards. In 2011 Eternal Nightcap was placed 27th on the ABC’s “My Favourite Album” poll, and more recently was voted no. 17 in “JJJ’s Hottest Australian Albums of All Time”.

Don’t miss this great night out as your favourite hits get the full orchestral treatment and celebrate 25 years of Tim Freedman’s songwriting. Strictly one night only.

“When musicians of this calibre take the stage live, you remember why you go to see live music.” The AU Review, 2016
“…the kind of arrangements which assume intelligence not just on stage but in the audience. It’s wit and risk and flair.” Bernard Zuel – Sydney Morning Herald
