The Queensland Korean Orchestra (QKO) returns to QPAC this year to celebrate their 10th year! At QKO’s 10th Anniversary Concert, you will experience a rich array of culture and history.
Enjoy a night of travelling through the Eastern and Western Classical Worlds. The program includes June-Hee Lim’s composition, Song of Arirang, a cantata based on the popular Korean folk song, Arirang, the beloved Moderato from Cello Concerto in C by Joseph Haydn, to the most renowned ballet music of Georges Bizet’s Carmen Suite No. 1 and No. 2 with the Aragonaise and Habanera performed with two South Korean prima ballerinas.
