Christmas magic returns to the stage at last with Queensland Ballet’s Best of The Nutcracker. Be transported to the enchanting world of The Nutcracker, where Clara embarks on a Christmas adventure to the Land of Sweets and the Sugar Plum Fairy.
Best of The Nutcracker is a special edition season, with highlights from the classical adaptation of E. T. A. Hoffmann’s tale of The Nutcracker and the Mouse King (1816). Choreographed by Ben Stevenson OBE, Queensland Ballet presents a 1-hour performance to delight audiences this festive season.
The program will begin with the beautiful Snow Scene from Act 1 and run directly into the Land of Sweets that features the world-famous Sugar Plum Pas de Deux (Act 2). Don’t miss your chance to experience this magical season with the whole family.
For four shows only at QPAC’s Concert Hall 4 to 5 December.
The performances will use recorded music.
