Take three blokes who love making music, stir in a few drinks then sit back and enjoy the sounds – or get up and dance!

Wielding ukuleles, guitars and some wind, 3-Drink-Limit’s laid back fun musical offering has earned them repeat performances at the Brisbane Festival, the Gympie Muster and a few bars around town.

You will recognise some favourites amongst the folk rock, country, jazz, blues and rock ’n roll plus a whole lot of genre-defying original work.

Grab a drink or four, sit back and enjoy the ride!

Numb Bums love to share the joy of the ukulele and music. The players in the Northside Ukulele Musicians Branch of BUMS hale mostly from the north side of Brisbane (though all comers with a uke are welcome). The band plays for fun, to learn and to make new friends. Rehearsal night is on Monday at Zillmere where their current repertoire is fine-tuned (no pun intended) and new songs are worked up. The Numb Bums will have a crack at the beat and harmonies of any genre. They perform in public for community groups, charities, child care centres and virtually anywhere they are asked – all to spread the fun of the versatile and entertaining ukulele.

The Numb Bums have performed at City Sounds, QPAC Green Jam 2016, SPRUKE – Brisbane’s Ukulele Festival Showcase Concert 2015, SPRUKE TEASER Concert 2015, FRUC (Folk Redlands Ukulele Convention) 2014, 2015, 2016, local community festivals from Caboolture to Redland Bay, and enjoy donating their performances to support worthy causes like, The Pyjama Foundation, Parkinson’s Queensland, cure for Brain Cancer and Brook Red.

Mama Juju & The Jam Tarts embrace their inner girl power with quirky songs, big personalities and sweet harmonies. They easily slide across musical genres from folk to country, jazz, rock and blues.  Their sassy and sometimes funny original songs have been well received at Festival performances and via the radio airwaves. A Mama Juju & The Jam Tarts concert is like a box of chocolates – you never quite know what you are going to get next! Laugh at their silly songs, sing along to re-imagined covers of songs you know and love, or dance the night away! Mama Juju & The Jam Tarts know how to entertain and always create a fun, upbeat vibe whenever they hit the stage.
