Overview

Currently in her third year of study at the Queensland Conservatorium, jazz vocalist Merinda Dias-Jayasinha has performed with a variety of ensembles including the Con Artists and the John Hoffman Group. Merinda’s performance credits include the Brisbane Jazz Club, Bennetts Lane Jazz Club in Melbourne, and the Magnetic Island Jazz Festival, and a showcase in the Brisbane Vocal Jazz Festival’s ‘Stars of the Future’. She is also the recent recipient of the Sid SJ Bromley Jazz Award (2016) at the Con.

The Merinda Dias-Jayasinha Quartet, with Sophie Min (keys), Sam Treby (bass), and Charles Hill (drums), is excited to combine their individual styles to put their own spin on a selection of jazz favourites at Green Jam.
