Steve Backshall's Summer Tour kicks off at QPAC!

Star of the hit TV series Deadly 60, Steve Backshall is back by popular demand this summer school holidays!

After multiple Australian tours and sold out shows from Broome to the Sydney Opera House, don’t miss Steve’s most exciting show ever – Deadly 60 Down Under, featuring some of Australia’s deadliest animals live on stage!

“I’m coming back to Australia! This time we’re doing things a little differently – we’re on walkabout! We’re travelling all the way down the East Coast of Australia on our Battle Bus – the ultimate Deadly tour bus. There will be stunts, audience participation, some of Australia’s most extraordinary wildlife on stage and loads of craziness!” Steve Backshall

Steve Backshall is an author, expedition leader, naturalist, wildlife expert and fearless presenter. Steve has travelled the world to learn about the most inspiring predators … he’s swum with sharks, been bitten by a caiman, been charged by elephants … but still maintains that wild animals pose no threat to people, in fact quite the opposite!

Join Steve, at his first tour-stop of the Australian summer here in Brisbane as he shares stories and videos from his Aussie adventures. There will be loads of audience participation, on-stage fun and opportunities to ask Steve all about his travels Down Under and the amazing animals he has encountered along the way!

“One of the best-informed and most impressive presenters on television.” The Guardian
