An inspirational journey through music, dance, and drama

As we gather on the traditional lands of the Yuggera and Turrubal people, QPAC is again proud to present – with the Aboriginal Centre for the Performing Arts (ACPA) – the vibrant, inspiring and entertaining talents of Australia’s emerging artists.

Eclipse takes the audience on an inspirational journey through music, dance and drama as the next generation of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander performing artists showcase their talents on the Cremorne Theatre stage.

Based at the Judith Wright Centre of Contemporary Arts, ACPA is a hub of training excellence for these three genres, and a place where cultural fusion and contemporary performance are celebrated.

QPAC and ACPA have collaborated each year since 2006 to give rising stars the opportunity to showcase their talents at Queensland’s premier performance space.

Join us as we celebrate the culmination of their studies in one of the most exuberant and poignant shows by a company of young artists at QPAC this year.

The Aboriginal Centre for the Performing Arts receives assistance from the Queensland Government through Arts Queensland and the Department of Employment, Small Business and Training.
