How do I become a QPAC Member?

There are three easy ways to join:

What is the term of a QPAC Membership?

Your Membership will commence from the day you purchase it and run for a year from that date i.e. if you purchase on 6 July 2018, the Membership will be valid until 5 July 2019.

I haven't received my Membership card yet, what should I do?

Your Membership card will be sent to you within 30 days of your Membership purchase, however you can start to take advantage of most of the benefits straight way. Simply log-in at using your account email address and password or phone us on 136 246. If you do not receive you card within 30 days of purchase, please let us know by phone or email at

Can I buy a gift Membership?

Gift Membership are not available for purchase at this time. 

Can I buy a Membership if I don't have access to the internet and/or email?

Yes, you can buy a Silver Membership, although pre-sale notifications will only be sent via email, so you will not receive this benefit. Gold Memberships are only available if you have access to the internet and email.

Can I upgrade my Membership?

Yes, you can upgrade your Membership from Silver to Gold within one month of purchase by calling 136 246 and paying the difference in Membership cost. You will need to return your Silver Membership card before we can issue your Gold card.

Member Benefits

How and where can I access the dining discounts?

As a QPAC Member, you are entitled to 10% discount on meals for you and one guest from QPAC's Lyrebird, Cafe, Bistro or Russell Street Wine Bar. Simply present your Membership card at the register or before you pay for your meal.

What is a priority booking period?

Priority booking periods relate to periods of time when Members will have access to purchase tickets to events before they go on general sale. The length of time before the tickets go on general sale varies from event to event and may be as short as one day or as long as a week. You will be notified about priority booking periods by email.

Will I receive priority booking periods for every event?

Due to the varied nature of events at QPAC and existing contractual arrangements of major producers and productions, we cannot guarantee priority booking for every event. Please note that Membership does not guarantee tickets will be available as on occasion tickets can sell out during priority booking.

How do I hear about priority booking periods?

We will email you as soon as a new priority offer is available. Current priority booking offers will also be featured when you log in to your account at

How often can I book a car park?

You can pre-book as many car parks as you like, though only one per performance. As these benefits are for the use of Members only, if you are attending with someone who is travelling separately, suggest to them that they purchase a QPAC Membership to access Member rates at the car park.

Will the transaction fee apply to any of my purchases?

The transaction fee will not apply to any ticket purchases after you are logged-in online or identify yourself as a Member to our sales team. Transaction fees may still apply to offers from third parties such as Lasttix.

Can discounts be applied to purchases made prior to the start of my Membership?

No, discounts will not apply to purchases made outside the valid Membership period.

Can I access any other discounts through my Membership?

There may be restrictions to certain discount ticketing online, but most discounts will be accessible over the phone via the member booking line. It is important to always log-in to your account before you select performances and seats to ensure the transaction fee is waived.

Using your Membership

When can I start to use my Membership?

Once you have completed your Membership purchase, you can start to use it straight away to book tickets without transaction fees and pre-paid car parking at Member prices. You will need to produce your Membership card or receipt from your Membership purchase to take advantage of discounted dining.

How do I log in?

If you have an online account, use the Account Login tab at the top right hand corner of any page on, to access the log in page. From here, enter your email address and account password. If you've forgotten your password, please click the 'Forgotten your password?' link and a new password will be sent to your registered email address.

If you don't currently have an online account, you can easily create using the Register Now button at the log in page.

How do I book tickets as a Member?

You can book online at – always remember to log-in as the first step – or by phone on the Membership line that will be provided to you or at the main Box Office on Level M QPAC

How many tickets can I book?

You can book as many tickets as you like, unless specified otherwise for priority booking periods. For online purchases, a maximum of 10 tickets can be purchased at one time.

How do I activate a gift Membership?

You can activate your Membership online at, over the phone on 136 246 or with the voucher at the QPAC Box Office on Level M of QPAC during the gift voucher validity period.

How do I activate my digital subscription to The Courier-Mail, digital magazine, ebooks etc?

Shortly after purchasing your QPAC Gold Membership, you will receive a confirmation email from the subscriptions team at CM+ with instructions on how to activate your subscription. If you have not received an email from CM+, you can set your password to access your subscription on this page using the same email address you used to purchase your Membership.

I have renewed my Gold Membership, but I can’t access my subscription to The Courier-Mail

On some occasions, there may be a delay of a day or two between your previous subscription expiring your new subscription starting. If it is longer than a day or two, please notify us on

How to I access the e-books, magazine subscription and other CM+ rewards?

You can access these rewards through the +Rewards portal, at When you click through on the eBooks or magazine subscription tiles, you will see a LOGIN TO REDEEM button, which is where you use the same login as you do on the homepage. If you have difficulties, please contact the subscriptions team from CM+ directly on 1300 696 397.

Who do I contact if I have any problems with my digital subscription to The Courier-Mail and other CM+ benefits?

Can I lend my Membership card to someone else?

QPAC Membership belongs to the named Member only. Wherever benefits apply to a guest, they must attend with the named Member. If you know someone who would enjoy the benefits of a QPAC Membership, you can purchase a Gift Membership.

Why did my tickets disappear from my shopping basket?

You need to log-in to your account before you select your event, dates and seats to take advantage of benefits such as reduced parking prices and zero transaction fees. If you choose your event, dates and seats before logging-in, your shopping basket will be cleared and you will have to start the booking process again. Please note there is also a 15 minute timeout on your log-in.

I have a QPAC Membership, but was still charged a transaction fee. Why?

When you visit the QPAC website, it is essential that you log-in first to make sure you see the current Member offers and receive all the QPAC Membership benefits such as waived transaction fee and discounted pre-paid parking that you are entitled to. If you search for events or tickets before you log-in, you will need to close the webpage and then come back, log-in first and then start your search.

Managing your Membership

Can I get a replacement Membership card?

If your Membership card is lost or stolen, please call QPAC on 136 246 or email to request a replacement. Your replacement card will arrive within 21 days, however you can continue to enjoy your ticketing benefits in the same way while your card is on its way.

I've changed my email address; what should I do?

You can change your email address from the My Details tab when you log-in to your QPAC account. Gold Members will also need to change their email address at the CM+ log-in page or by phoning CM+ on 1300 693 397.

Are the tickets I purchased with Membership still valid if my Membership has expired?

Yes, the Membership must be valid when the tickets are purchased, but need not be valid on the date of the event (although you will not be able to enjoy dining discounts if your Membership is not valid).

How do I renew my Membership?

Two weeks before your renewal date, we will send you a reminder by email.

Can I cancel my Membership?

Subject to any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law, there is no cancellation or refund of Memberships mid-term. Your Membership will automatically expire at the end of your Membership term if you do not renew.
