Kendall Battley – Communications Manager, QPAC

Background in brief - With over 20 years’ experience working in public and private enterprise in the areas of corporate communications, media relations, crisis management and public relations, I have a passion for applying these skills in the arts sector. My many years in the arts include experience as a freelance PR consultant working with a range of clients including architecture firms, designers and artists. After working in media and communications with Arts Queensland and at the Queensland Art Gallery/ Gallery of Modern Art, I made the move to Queensland Ballet to manage the company’s media and public relations for five years before joining QPAC as Communications Manager in 2019.

Passions/Hobbies – I love exploring creativity and understanding other people’s creative journeys and outcomes. I love hearing other peoples’ stories and learning about what has made them who they are and determined their life journey. I’m fascinated by the design process as well as good honest minimalist and smart design. I cannot sit still and love to spend my time doing everything from baking, to mountain biking to high intensity training.
