Poulenc Organ Concerto in G minor
Beethoven Symphony No.5 in C minor
Many of you have been asking us to showcase the glorious pipe organ in the QPAC Concert Hall and we’ve heard you! Organist Joseph Nolan, described by Limelight Magazine as a “Colossus”, will rouse audiences with a rare outing of Poulenc’s highly enjoyable Organ Concerto. As if that wasn’t enough, we’re out to fire everyone’s blood with Richard Strauss’ action-packed tone poem, Don Juan, topped off with the fiery brilliance of Beethoven’s one and only Fifth Symphony.
