Building on the success of the 2021 QPAC Chamber Choir showcase concert, Harmonic Journey, ABBA Evolution explores how the music of the Swedish supergroup has evolved from their earliest pre-ABBA song writing efforts through to ABBA’s 2021 release of Voyage.
Featuring sophisticated choral arrangements of some of ABBA’s greatest hits led by QPAC Choral Director Timothy Sherlock, this show will also shine a light on some of their lesser-known songs, demonstrating the musical evolution and genius behind the Ulvaeus/Andersson song writing team.

This performance is presented in Concert Hall Reverse Mode with the audience seated in close proximity to the performers on the Concert Hall stage. Instead of performing to the main auditorium, the artists face the choir balconies and choir retractable seats. This seating arrangement is known as reverse mode and creates an intimate and relaxed atmosphere.
QPAC is operating at 100% capacity. Masks are strongly recommended for all patrons in our foyers and theatres. Please bring your own mask with you. Find out more
