Rodgers + Hammerstein’s Cinderella is coming to the Lyric Theatre, QPAC from August!
Starring Shubshri Kandiah as Ella (Cinderella), Ainsley Melham as the charming Prince Topher; Silvie Paladino as the Fairy Godmother, Marie; and Nicholas Hammond as Sebastian, Prince Topher’s Lord Chancellor.
This lush production features incredible orchestrations, jaw-dropping transformations and all the moments you love – the pumpkin, the glass slipper, the masked ball and more – plus some surprising new twists! Education Materials have been developed to help teachers of years 3 through to 12 investigate the performance with students and to provide excellent opportunities to explore the Australian Curriculum, with specific references to English and The Arts. The materials includes character descriptions, a synopsis of the show, information about the origins of the musical, and a brief history of fairy tales.
