ACT 1: LÂLKA
LÂLKA is the Brisbane-based producer/vocalist/musician creating gritty yet opulent electro-pop. With her unique vocal style, LÂLKA combines heavy industrial beats with hip hop and pop influences to quickly cement her niche in the music industry. LÂLKA’s music and live performance reflect her personality: plenty of confidence and tongue-in-cheek energy.
ACT 2: SALMON & THE PEACHES
Salmon & The Peaches blend acoustic and electronic sounds to create dreamy indie-pop tunes with heartfelt lyricism. Having supported a myriad of local bands throughout Brisbane as well as a spot supporting Sarah Blasko at Brisbane Festival, Salmon & The Peaches has steadily grown into a sound of their own, captivating audiences along the way.
ACT 3: KIKI-TSUGARU
KiKi-Tsugaru was formed by Hikari Shirafuji and Kanami Takeda in 2008. Known across Japan as top-tier shamisen players, Ki&Ki (KiKi) is a true Japanese Tsugaru Shamisen Duo based in Tokyo, Japan. The music performed by Ki&Ki consists of Japanese Minyo songs, Tsugarusongs, and their rendition of traditional songs blended with a modern touch. Every song written by the duo aims to showcase the power of the tsugaru shamisen, while expressing feminine delicacy.
