Dress Code

Many people ask about QPAC's dress code. While we don't have a dress code as such, anything from smart casual is appropriate. People tend to dress in a range of different styles at eventsĀ at QPAC, so it's up to your personal preference.

Bags and Cloak Rooms

For the safety and comfort of QPAC patrons, all backpacks and large bags must be checked into our cloakroom prior to entering the theatre. This service is free. Please allow extra time to make use of cloak Room facilities.
Each theatre has a dedicated Cloak Room. It is recommended to cloak all large bags, umbrellas and other items. The locations of the Cloak Rooms are as follows.

  • Lyric Theatre and Concert Hall - Ticket Sales Foyer, Level M
  • Playhouse - Level 1 (River side of foyer)
  • Cremorne Theatre - Entry Level adjacent to Box Office

There is no cost to cloak your items and Cloak Rooms are staffed or locked at all times.

Need a boost?

Cloak Rooms also have booster cushions for younger audience members. Please ask the Cloak Room attendant.

No smoking

In line with Queensland Government Legislation, QPAC is a smoke free environment. Smoking is not permitted within the building or in the open spaces around the building. This includes all balconies, eating areas and the Cascade Court. We appreciate your co-operation in this matter.
