The Queensland Symphony Orchestra (QSO) and Chief Conductor Johannes Fritzsch invite you to live the music in 2012.

QSO is renowned for its high quality, breath-taking performances of both classical and modern compositions that engage audiences of all musical tastes, interests and ages.

2012 Season

With a mission to touch the hearts and minds of all music lovers, QSO works as a team to bring the uplifting sounds of music to everybody, every day.

In 2012 QSO will continue to raise the standard of cultural performances in Queensland with an exciting new season.

The 2012 Season involves both familiar and new repertoire, an array of guest soloists, several exciting premieres and a number of unique collaborations with other performing arts companies.

A host of outstanding international and Australian conductors will lead QSO in 2012 with Johannes Fritzsch returning as Chief Conductor and Scandinavian Maestro Eivind Aadland returning as Principal Guest Conductor. Leading Australian composer, Elena Kats-Chernin also continues her QSO residency.
