QPAC employs casual staff in the areas of Box Office, Backstage, Green Room, Foyer Bars, Restaurants and Front of House.

QPAC's work experience primarily provides opportunities for high school, TAFE and Tertiary students for whom an unpaid work placement is part of their curriculum. An exceptional opportunity exists for an experienced and motivated IT professional to join QPAC in the 12 month full time term role of Web Developer / Programmer.
QPAC is currently searching for a Web Developer to join the team, who will provide technical expertise, developing and maintaining web-based applications. Reporting to the IS Manager, the Web Developer will be responsible for updating content, trouble-shooting and writing SQL scripts that assist business units. The ideal candidate will also have experience in the following:
Programming skills in C#, ASP.NET 1.1 & 2, regular expression, HTML, XML, XPath, Javascript, JQuery, Ajax, web-service and windows service
Relational database design and maintenance in particular of MSSQL 2000 & MSSQL 2005
Windows/IIS security
Microsoft Visual source safe version control management system
As the Web Developer, you will possess an Information Technology degree, or tertiary equivalent, and have the ability to write custom and well documented programming code. In addition, you must; be results driven and adept at working to strict timeframes; and have; excellent communication skills to work with various stakeholders in an efficient manner. A strong commitment to increasing customer satisfaction and self-sufficiency throughout the organisation is essential to this role.

An exceptional opportunity currently exists for a highly motivated individual to join QPAC in the permanent full-time role of Head Technician – Lighting.
In this important leadership role, you will be responsible for supervising and driving staff to provide professional client focused and cost efficient services to Venue Hirers and other QPAC Units. This position requires a high calibre individual who is suitably experienced and qualified in theatre lighting. Customer service is of paramount importance to this role, as is experience in leading and motivating teams in a dynamic live theatre environment.
