Traffic Updates and Notices
QPAC is located in a vibrant part of the city, with many events occurring, particularly on the weekends.
Busy crowds, traffic changes and Queensland Rail track work can sometimes cause travel delays, which may affect your arrival time at QPAC. To avoid missing the start of your performance, we strongly suggest you plan your transport and leave home early to avoid any delays and arrive in good time to enjoy your show.
Car park lift closure 22 April - 22 August 2014
The lift from the Performing Arts Car Park to the Cremorne Theatre foyer is closed for refurbishment from 22 April to 22 August. During this time, access to the Cremorne Theatre is from ground level. Access to the Playhouse is via Russell Street. For further information call 136 246.
Mother’s Day fun run Sunday 11 May
The Mother’s Day Classic fun run will take place at South Bank on Sunday 11 May. As the runners will be using the Stanley Street tunnel, Cultural Centre car parks are expected to be closed until 10am. If you are attending a performance on this day, please plan to arrive after 10am or consider taking public transport. The fun run is a great community event to celebrate Mother’s Day and raise funds for breast cancer research. Register here
Road closures Saturday 27 September 2014
Due to Sunsuper Riverfire there will be a number of road closures around QPAC in the afternoon and evening of Saturday 27 September that will disrupt traffic along Victoria Bridge, Kurilpa and Goodwill Bridges and Grey Street. If you are attending performances on this date, please check the website closer to the date and consider catching public transport.

Ticket holders for events at QPAC during the period 10-18 November 2014 are advised to plan their journey by checking the Translink
or Brisbane City Council
websites and allowing extra travel time to QPAC.
Set down for patrons who have difficulty walking from the car parks can be pre-arranged
