Traffic Updates and Notices
QPAC is located in a vibrant part of the city, with many events occurring, particularly on the weekends.
Busy crowds, traffic changes and Queensland Rail track work can sometimes cause travel delays, which may affect your arrival time at QPAC. To avoid missing the start of your performance, we strongly suggest you plan your transport and leave home early to avoid any delays and arrive in good time to enjoy your show.
AUSTRALIA DAY ROAD CLOSURES – 25 January - 26 January 2015
The following full road closures will be enforced at the South Bank Parklands:
Sunday 25 January - 9.30am to 8pm
Monday 26 January - 9.30am to 6pm.
Little Stanley Street
Sunday 25 January - 6am to 8pm
Monday 26 January - 5am to 7pm.
This will not affect the car park at Southbank which will remain open for the entire Australia Day Celebrations with entry in via both Glenelg St and Tribune St.

Road closures - 6-9 and 13-16 February*
Victoria Bridge and the Melbourne Street turn to/from the Cultural Centre car parks will be closed due to resurfacing works on the bridge over the following two weekends:.
- 10pm Friday 6 February until 5am Monday 9 February*
- 10pm Friday 13 February until 5am Monday 16 February*
Entrance to the Cultural Centre car parks will be via the left turn into Stanley Place from William Jolly Bridge or right turn from Grey Street.
Buses will continue to operate, although the Cultural Centre busway station will be closed. Temporary stops will be provided on Hope and Grey Streets, together with existing stops on Melbourne Street (near Cordelia Street). A shuttle bus will service Grey Street and Mater Hill and South Bank busway stations.
The pedestrian path on the south-east side of Victoria Bridge will remain open to pedestrians and dismounted cyclists throughout the weekend. The north-west (closest to library) footpath will be closed.
