Public Transport



There are many easy ways to get to QPAC, whether it be via a short walk from the city across Victoria Bridge, driving and parking in one of the nearby carparks or using one of the public transport options that stop just outside the front door or within easy strolling distance.

By Train


to South Brisbane Station, opposite QPAC in Grey Street.


By Bus


to the Cultural Centre Busway Station on the Melbourne Street side of QPAC.


By CityCat


to South Bank Ferry Terminal which is only a short walk along the river from QPAC, in South Bank Parklands.

By Taxi


to the designated taxi set-down and pick-up area on the Grey Street side of QPAC. Free taxi phones are located in the main Melbourne Street foyer, the Cremorne Theatre Lobby and the coffee shop level of the Playhouse, as well as at Stage Door.

Access changes

Access changes at QPAC

Due to construction at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre, cars travelling north along Grey Street can no longer turn right into Russell Street or turn at the entrance to the QPAC tunnel.

Mobility Difficulties

Patrons with mobility difficulties

A specific set down area is now open in the QPAC basement 90 minutes prior to and one hour after performances in the QPAC Concert Hall and Lyric Theatre.
