Stage X

QPAC is commited to encouraging, supporting and profiling the cultural lives and interests of young people in Brisbane. Stage X events are the manifestation of this philosophy.

Stage X is a program / a series / a space / a style / a meaning. It is about ideas, creativity and culture. Stage X responds to the needs of young people in Brisbane and explores a diversity of issues.

In 1997 and 1999 Stage X was presented over 10 days. In 2001 Stage X was presented as a free-flowing, four-month program of events. Stage X has evolved to become a more integrated part of QPAC’s programming. This year Stage X will present Five to Midnight, providing a catalyst for a number of events and activities that will occur in 2004.
