Candy Manis a high energy, sophisticated song and dance show that brings to life the legend that was Sammy Davis Jnr; the ultimate entertainer. Candy Man takes the audience on a journey through Sammy Davis’ career as a song and dance man, through nightclubs, concert halls, on Broadway, and in film and television.
You’ll hear Sammy Davis classics from his early start in vaudeville through to his Rat Pack days performing in Vegas during the late fifties and early sixties. From Make Em Laugh to Mr Bojangles, Sing Sing Sing, Birth of the Blues, Something’s Gotta Give, That Ol’ Black Magic, The Rhythm of Life, What Kind of Fool Am I?, The Lady Is A Tramp and the song of the show’s title, Candy Man performed with a live band of eight of Australia’s top musicians and a chorus of five of Australia’s best triple threat performers(dancer/singer/actors).
