Michael Flaskos
A Brisbane local, Michael has worked in some of Brisbane’s premier restaurants, including About Face and Il Centro. His flair for great food has seen him win the Apprentice of the Year in 1998, a gold medal at the Australian Culinary Federation Salon Culinaire in 2000 and become finalist in the Rising Chef Australia Awards 2000.
Former Head Chef at Venice Wine Bar on Eagle Street, Michael brings to The Bistro, a ‘keep it simple’ approach which he delivers with fresh, local ingredients.
