What better time than in Queensland Ballet's 50th anniversary year to truly celebrate the glorious spectacle of dance? The Company's annual International Gala will feature the work of acclaimed international choreographers, including the stunning piece, Fearful Symmetries, by Nils Christe, and pas de deux by David Dawson. Joining Queensland Ballet in a joyous display of technique and artistry are guest dancers from Paris Opera Ballet, Dresden Semperoper Ballett, The Hong Kong Ballet, and the National Ballet of China. Artistic Director François Klaus salutes the art of dance with an exciting, surprising program of classical and contemporary styles.
