With the power of dreams, anything is possible.

The internationally acclaimed Chinese production My Dream is an inspiring and touching performance, which proves that even the wildest dreams are possible - a troupe of blind and deaf performing artists, overcoming their disabilities to deliver world-class performances. The show mixes a spellbinding collection of traditional Chinese, Eastern and Western performing arts into a lavish visual spectacular which reveals the beauty and hope that lies within the human spirit. You will be mesmerized by a stunning symbolic display of one thousand hands of compassion, moved by elegant poetry told through sign language and awed by the rich variety of delicate and graceful dances and blissful musical performance.

This breathtaking masterwork of the China Disabled People's Performing Art Troupe has been a national sensation throughout China, and has performed in over 40 countries, including sell-out seasons at Carnegie Hall and La Scala. Now My Dream comes to Brisbane. You must not miss out on this exquisite and unforgettable show.

"...unbelievable..." The New York Times

The China Disabled People's Performing Art Troupe was founded in 1987.  They have travelled to more than 40 countries in Asia, Europe, America, Africa and Oceania, have performed in the cultural performances and ceremonies for the Athens and Beijing Olympic Games, and have been referred to as "messengers of beauty and humanity" by the international community.

Art director Zhang Jigang has been responsible for more than 260 dances, and has received many international awards for his work. My Dream is a result of his compassion for the art of disabled persons in China.

My Dream will be launched in all major cities in Australia and New Zealand during November this year. VAC Media Group is honored to host Brisbane's shows on the 23rd and 24th of November at the QPAC Concert Hall, with up to 50 artists in the performance.
