Helen first made her name playing Miss Adelaide in Guys and Dolls while still at NIDA. She has subsequently appeared in many productions for Sydney Theatre Company, including Up for Grabs, Into the Woods, Pentecost, The Unlikely Prospect of Happiness, The Hanging Man and Spring Awakening. She was also part of the ensemble that opened The Sydney Theatre, with the musical The Republic of Myopia and the play Harbour. Helen regularly works on The West End, where she starred as Glinda in the original London cast of Wicked, as Cinderella in the Olivier award winning production of Stephen Sondheim's Into The Woods at Regents Park, and as Mary Hemingway in Too Close to the Sun.
