The living paper cartoon -- no celebrity is safe!

Ennio Marchetto is the ultimate quick change artist, revolutionising the art of origami into theatrical magic. His screamingly funny and wildly entertaining solo performance features a whirlwind of superb paper costumes and split second transformations, backed by an eclectic soundtrack.

Ennio uses his dynamic and physical comedy and ingenious costumes to magically morph into parodies of our favourite cultural icons including Lady Gaga, Susan Boyle, Boy George, Edith Piaf, Bette Midler, Cher, Madonna, Marilyn Monroe, Liza Minnelli and many many more!

Not just a celebrity impersonator, Ennio Marchetto is a unique character entertainer whose virtuoso performance is a display of technical ingenuity and extraordinary physical dexterity.

Presented as part of 2010 Brisbane Cabaret Festival

Rooted in a deep history of commedia dellarté, Ennio is a born and bred Venetian. Before bursting on to the scene in the 1980s Ennio used to make extravagant costumes for the Venice Carnivale and was a master mask maker. Since the creation of his spectacular theatre show, Ennio has won multiple awards and nominations including the Golden Lion, Drama Desk and an Olivier. He has toured to over 60 countries worldwide to great acclaim and sell-out performances.
